Adderall XP (also known as Adderall XR) is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant made from a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine salts. It works by increasing the levels of certain neurotransmitters (dopamine and norepinephrine) in the brain, which helps improve attention, focus, and wakefulness.

Indications:

• Treatment of Attention‑Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adults

• Management of narcolepsy (a sleep disorder causing daytime sleepiness)
